Theme in my book: ZigZag

I think that this book is trying to tell its readers that family is the most important thing and to spend a lot of time with them because they are the most important thing. When the readers read this book i think that the author wanted us to think about how people can change so much in time and how much people change when they have someone to look up to. I think the overall message in this book is so spend more time with the people that you love.

Setting in my Independent Book "ZigZag"

In my book the characters right now are in many different settings because they are traveling through the west. They explore parts of the country that they have never dreamed existed. They have been to Colorado, Denver, Buffalo, Chicago, Oklahoma, and Ohio. In each one of these settings the characters had learned many things about themselves and others that they never thought they would know. These settings help the characters become closer in many different ways and the settings caused the characters to change.

Theme in my book: Deep and Dark and Dangerous

I think the author wants us to learn that telling the truth is the most important thing. I think this because in the book Dulcie and Claire have been lying their whole life about their friend Teresa's. And since they are lying about it Teresa has not died in peace. She has been waiting 30 years for them to tell the truth. Once they told the truth, she died in peace.
I think the author wants us to feel sad or hurt for Teresa because she never grew old with Dulcie and Claire. She is going to rot in the ground. But she will be in peace. I think the author also wants us to feel happy for her in the end of the book because she is now in a better place and is free in peace.
I think the author wants us to think about life and death. How precious life is and how quickly it can be taken away from you if u take it for granted. Live life to the fullest and don't take 1 day for granted.

Bridge to Terabithia Entry

The question that i am answering in this entry is why do i think the author chose to make Leslie die? Did this make the book stronger? Would the book have been strong without Leslie dying?
I think the author chose Leslie to die for multiple reasons. One reason is to  make the story more meaningful and to have a message behind the story. One message could be that people come and go and u have to live with it. Another message could be life is short.
I think that this Death made the book stronger because it was very unexpected. This scene also made the book stronger because its a scene that when most people would think of the book, that's the first scene people would think of. That scene really made the book stronger.
I think that this book would have been strong with out the scene depending on what other scene they could put in the book that dominates the other scene.

Bridge to Terabithia Archetypes (REDO)

JESS: In the beginning of the book, Jess is in his own little world......he doesn't really pay much attention to the people around him. His mind is basically always on one thing. Towards the end of the book, Leslie shows Jess how to take more risks and be more open instead of acting like he is in a box 24/7. Jess becomes more of a person who doesn't care what anyone thinks of him and just becomes his own person.

Leslie: She is the time of person who is not a follower and follows her own footstep. She does not care what poeple think of her. She had her own voice. Throughout the whole book this was how she acted and she wasn't going to let anyone change he no matter what.

May Belle: She is the type of person that cant make up her mind and she is the peson who is confused alot of the times. For example somtimes she treats jess like he is the king of the wold. Then she would teat him like he is the last person on her mind.
